from munich direction
Take the Munich-Salzburg motorway to the Inzell exit in the direction of Siegsdorf, then via Lofer, Saalfelden (turn left) to Maria Alm (with this variant you do not use an Austrian motorway and therefore do not need a motorway vignette!)
Or you can take the Munich-Salzburg motorway to the Inntal motorway junction, continue to Kufstein, then via Kitzbühel, Mittersill to Zell am See, then to Saalfelden (turn right) in the direction of Maria Alm (from Saalfelden to Maria Alm it is approx. 5 km).
At the entrance to Maria Alm, after approx. 300 m on the left side, 2nd side street after a slight right bend – turn in here and our house is the fourth on the right side (see map).
from vienna direction
Vienna – Linz – Salzburg – Bischofshofen (exit in the direction of St. Johann, continue to Zell am See (through the bypass tunnel) in the direction of Saalfelden, at the Saalfelden roundabout, turn right to Maria Alm, at the entrance to Maria Alm after approx. 300 m on the left (2nd side street after a slight right bend) a side street, turn in here and our house is the fourth on the right side (see map).
In good weather you can drive from Bischofshofen to Mühlbach am Hochkönig, from there over the Dientner Pass to Hinterthal, approx. 7 km after Hinterthal comes a longer straight (approx. 500 m long), then take the third road on the right and our house is the fourth on the right.
The last train station before Maria Alm is Saalfelden, then either by bus or taxi to Maria Alm. Railway information: ÖBB or Deutsche Bahn.
It is now possible to fly from the city quartet of Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Hanover for the price of a local taxi from 19.99 Euros with the low-cost airline TUIfly! In winter, skis are transported free of charge and the baggage allowance is increased from 20 to 30 kg.
